Currently St. Francis Home and Rehab has full time positions available. The Charge Nurse is responsible and accountable for a variety of clinical and supportive care and provides patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager and Director of Nursing. Must exercise independent discretion in giving selected care, planning, coordinating and supervising, teaching and evaluating nursing care on assigned unit. Is directly responsible for CNAs performance and development. The Charge Nurse demonstrates excellent customer service. He/She upholds the standards contained in the mission, vision and values of St. Francis Home & Rehab and any applicable Federal, State, and/or Regulatory Statutes/Guideline.Strong interpersonal skills for interacting positively with elderly and/or handicapped. Work with residents to gain their cooperation, to interact effectively with personnel on unit and in other departments and with families and visitors of Residents. Will be required to work in often hectic and stressful situations while maintaining a positive attitude. Must be able to effectively motivate and direct others.Graduate of an accredited nursing program and maintains a current license as an RN in the State of Michigan.Familiarity with state and accrediting agency requirements for long term care preferred.Our mission statement requires that staff recognize each resident's personal dignity and worth, be accountable for excellence in performance, adhere to high standards and adhere to ethical standards based on the moral teaching of the Roman Catholic Church. Must be able to communicate well with co-workers, residents and families. Have patience and understanding especially for the dementia residents. Maintain a professional appearance with good attendance and punctuality. Must be able to set priorities and manage time well. You do not need to be Catholic but must be willing to support the residents with their spiritual needs and Christian beliefs.

Dietary Aide

St Francis Home is accepting applications for part time positions within our Dietary Department.

Qualified applicants will have excellent customer service skills and a desire to make a difference in others lives. Can prepare meals, deliver to the room, cleaning and assistance with the residents.

Experience in a healthcare setting a plus!

CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant 

Under the supervision of a Charge Nurse, provides care to meet all residents individual needs. Maintains a safe environment by following facility safety standards. Works as a member of a healthcare multi disciplinary team and, as such, reports any noticed change in Resident status. Upholds all Resident Rights. Competency tested by an RN upon hire and annually. Other department staff may assist residents with CNA tasks if they have their completion of the CNA training and must be certified within 4 months of signing the CNA Job Description. Assignments and shifts may vary.

$12 an hour

Shift differentials: $2.00 2nd shift, $1.00 3rd shift, $1.00 weekend shifts

Full and Part time positions available.

Hospitality Aide

$8.90 an hour

Must follow established policies and procedures of housekeeping and laundry department. Be responsible for providing a clean, sanitary environment for Residents, Visitors and Staff. Must work tasks assigned to the best of your ability as well as assist in the safety and wellbeing of our Residents. Personal cleanliness and neatness in appearance. See dress code. Must have genuine concern for St Francis Home and Residents and willingness to do the job assignment. Must understand & follow sanitation methods as well as Universal Precautions and use PPE’s. Responsible for attending meetings and in services as required.

Hospitality Aide wage $8.90 per hour
